Nature of Products; No Guarantee of Outcome

Buyer acknowledges that the products sold are components of a larger passive fire protection system. The effectiveness of these products is entirely dependent upon correct specification, proper installation by qualified professionals, and the integrity of the surrounding structure. Seller does not guarantee that the use of these products will prevent fire spread, property damage, or personal injury. 

Installation and Professional Responsibility

All products must be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s technical data sheets and tested system designs. Adding any materials or devices not explicitly included in a tested and listed assembly may void the product’s fire-resistance rating. 

Compliance with Building Codes

Buyer is solely responsible for verifying that the products meet local building codes, project specifications, and requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Seller makes no representation that products comply with specific local laws or project-specific fire-safety mandates. 

Limited Warranty and Pass-Through

To the extent allowed by law, Seller passes through all original manufacturer warranties to the Buyer. Seller warrants only that the products conform to the manufacturer’s quality control standards at the time of delivery. 

Exclusive Remedy

In the event of a defect, Buyer’s sole remedy is limited to replacement of the defective product or a refund of the purchase price.

This warranty does not cover failures caused by improper storage or misuse.
