This 12" × 12" fire-rated enclosure uses FRPS's patent-pending composite fiber construction – a lightweight alternative to traditional metal enclosures – which provides FR rating for recessed downlighting and in-ceiling speaker installation in acoustic tile ceiling T-Grid systems.

Has a 1-hour ASTM E119 / UL 263 fire resistance rating.
Maximum fixture height is 5.5 inches.
Hanger bars are required to secure fixtures in T-Grid systems.
Approved to ASTM E119 / UL 263 and ASTM E84 fire-resistance test.
