This patent-pending gap-fill gasket uses FRPS's composite fiber material, engineered for shower mixing valve installations in fire-rated vertical wall assemblies. Maintains the fire rating of the assembly for one hour per ASTM E814 / UL 1479 testing.
Features
The gap-fill gasket is applied to the wet-side surface of a fire-rated vertical wall assembly.
The gasket protects the gap created around the shower valve stem that passes through the fire-rated drywall board wall assembly – prior to the installation of the waterproof cement board membrane.
